Evolution of a stylistic direction and structural toolkit influenced by Japanese artworks and traditional Shoji architecture to create a performance based environment for the display, experience and exploration of the suite of Mizuno footwear. Areas of Experiential Activation were developed for guests to try on and interact with the products. This included a 20m running track, football game area, handball game area and a basketball court area. All gaming areas were finished in the specific flooring to replicate an authentic experience of the footwear. Further to the Experiential Activity POS displays innovatively showcased the product ranges, retail desks provided opportunities for purchase, screens throughout the space televised the action of the games and private lounge areas gave Mizuno athletes and VIP’s the opportunity for hospitality and relaxation.
