As part of a wide-reaching content revision program, Ordnance Survey - an organisation formed in 1791 and which still leads the way in mapping and surveying the UK, wanted to create an experiential environment that would communicate the extent to which OS affects our everyday lives. In order to encourage receptiveness to the program from the general public the solution was based around the familiarity of a home environment, with GPS devices used to emphasise how OS enables a wide range of everyday objects through the physical concept of mapping the home.
